Today’s adventure was so Perth’s not to secret ‘Secret Garden.’ I had seen so many photos of this place and I always thought it looked so beautiful and magical with all the greenery and canopy covers! So after a few hectic weeks of uni, assignments, work and other things, Adrian and I decided to visit the garden this morning. It was a beautiful autumn day and the weather was so perfect.
I was in awe when we got there and the sun was shining through all the leaves and trees. It definitely did not feel like we were in Perth at all! More like Japan or somewhere in Ireland. We walked around and the whole place felt somewhat like a little playground, with trees and hidden paths everywhere with little streams. It was sad however to see litter everywhere and the water had quite some rubbish in it too. Which is really sad, when such beautiful places exist, its a shame its not looked after better.
Anyway we continued walking around and saw so many birds and other animals. After the secret garden, we went on a little walk around the Gwelup area and there was little wetland or stream area. The water was so much cleaner and nicer, there were so many ducks in the water and it was just so peaceful walking there. I really enjoyed it.
Hope you like the photos!
